A first responder or paramedic can, with the simple tap of their mobile phone, access critical life saving information in the event of a medical emergency.

Many people can benefit from a Tap2Tag, especially those with complex medical conditions. Trying to document many different types of medication, that often changes regularly, can be difficult to remember but also vitally important to have close at hand in the event of a medical emergency.

Anyone suffering from conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Addison’s disease, Crohn’s disease, severe allergies, heart conditions or simply taking any prescription drugs can benefit from this device.

Tap2Tag can help you store almost unlimited amounts of information including name and contact details, allergies, medical conditions and medication, notes on what to do in an emergency and even a photograph of the wearer. In addition there is also the facility to load PDF documents into the profile such as care plans, patient passports, Do Not Resuscitate letter or even a copy of their last prescription. All of these documents can be made available to first responders when the device is activated.

It also send a SMS text message to their next of kin when the device has been activated so that they know almost immediately that their loved one is in difficulty (there will soon be a GBP1 charge for this text but can be de-activated if needed).
